While no two companies are the same, there are a variety of signs that every business should strongly consider hanging in their workplace. Here’s a five step checklist for deciding on what to do next.

• Site survey: In short, survey your workspace to determine where to hang signs. For example, these should be displayed in easily accessible areas, such as on entry doors and in the lobby.
• Quantity: For small offices, you may only require one or two signs. However, if you have a large building, you’ll need more signs to outfit it from top to bottom.

• Banner stands: Signs are good, but you may want to take things to the next level by using a banner stand. These are typically bigger than signs, allowing them to more easily grab the attention of passerby’s.
• Quality: This has nothing to do with the message and everything to do with the durability of the sign. A high quality sign will stand up to the test of time. A low quality sign, however, may begin to show early signs of wear and tear, thus making it more difficult to read.
